Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The holiday shopping season.

For many companies, they’re two separate entities.

People will buy plenty online during the first two, and then come into your location for the latter.

That may not be the case this year.

You want to have marketing and web design that puts you in the best position possible to take advantage of that. Our digital marketing agency website can help.

Same Amount of Money, Spent a Different Way

A recent consumer insights study found that “shoppers do not plan to significantly change their holiday spending compared to 2019.”

What they do plan to change is where they’re doing that spending, as the study found “66% of shoppers (are) anticipating they will increase their online purchases.”

Couple that with findings of how 60% of consumers plan to do less in-store shopping, and you see a clear trend.

People are going to be online shopping.

That means your website, your eCommerce, and everything else has to be at its best.

Yes, this blog was written on October 27th, but there’s still time to get everything together for the holiday season.

Make Sure Your Delivery is On Point, But It Doesn’t Have to be Overnight

Customers want their goods and products quickly.

However, they don’t need them tomorrow.

Interestingly, this study found that half of respondents said “five days for delivery is reasonable.”

28% found one week “acceptable.”

A 2018 study from the same company found almost 35% of respondents “expected packages in two days or less,” but that number has since dropped to 14%.

No Time Like the Present

Yes, there is still time to whip everything into shape for the holiday season.

That said, there isn’t much time.

After all, this study also found ”39% of shoppers plan to start shopping for the holidays in October into early November.”
