SEO trends may change often, but there are basic fundamentals. Master them and incorporate them into your site and you have a chance to grow. You aren’t guaranteed to grow, but you’ll have a chance to. Google and other search engines want to put the best companies in front of their users. If you’re good at what you do and you master the SEO basics, you have a chance to be one of those companies. These are some of the SEO services that we provide to our clients.

Why This Matters
Rarely does a client come to us because they have trouble creating content. Rather, they have trouble getting the most from the content that they have. For example, one client has hundreds of blogs, going back more than a decade. However, these SEO basics weren’t performed on many of them. So, we had to go in there and take care of that, pronto.

One of the first problems we noticed with this client was that their blogs weren’t tagged. So, none of the blogs had tags at the bottom which could lead from one blog to the next. We organized all of their blogs and FAQs so that someone could easily see all of the questions pertaining to one particular service, issue, and so forth.
On the subject of the FAQs, we organized those, too. Specifically, we put the questions that really are asked the most at the top. That way, most people would be able to find their solution easier. Those who had a less common but no less important question could still find what they were looking for. But, we weren’t putting the most emphasis on the solutions least likely to be required.
Sometimes, fixing a company’s SEO really is as simple as going into each of their biggest pages and making quick improvements. In some cases, the keywords really do just need to be bolded twice in a page. H2 and H3 need to be included and specified. This makes it easier on web crawlers, yes, but it also does quite a bit to help users reading, too.
Hyperlinking With Intention
Hyperlinking is so important within your content. But, like everything else related to SEO services, it has to be done right. Simple basics that we usually do: link once to the page you’re on, once to an external source that you/the client/trust, and sometimes to a client’s LinkedIn, Yelp, or similar service.
So, take a personal injury attorney-client as an example. External linking is a great way to show authority. But, you want to do so in such a way that you can be trusted. Our policy is to find the best, most trustworthy source for a hyperlink. Often, this includes linking straight to laws, governmental agencies, medical associations, and so forth.
Part of content is, always, to demonstrate your expertise, your authority. You want to show search engines as well as potential clients/their loved ones that you can be trusted. There’s nothing wrong with linking to positive Google Reviews, Yelp, Avvo, and the like. You worked hard to earn those, and prospective clients can receive peace of mind from knowing you have them.
Those examples are appropriate for personal injury attorneys, yes. But, there’s something similar in just about every industry that we’ve ever worked with.
