The Problem

Many people in Los Angeles are always looking for a place to hold an event. When they search for a venue online, they couldn’t see Sepan Banquet at the top of the search result. The only way for them to find this venue was through offline ads and referrals, even though Sepan Banquet had a website that could take calls and bookings. When they reached out to Website Depot, their main goal was to make sure that people who need their services would find them online. They also wanted visitors to stay on their site for longer and explore it even more.


The Solution

Website Depot’s team started to research and identify the right keywords for Sepan Banquet. Then, the team optimized its website and third-party direct listings, including Bing, Apple Maps, Google My Business, etc. The goal of this strategy was to increase the company’s position for certain keywords in search results. And to further help meet the goal, the team optimize the page title and meta description, along with H1 and H2 heading tags. The team also set up the site’s Google Analytics to better monitor its rankings and link-building efforts. Website Depot also improved its email marketing campaign and online reputation. Plus, the team started a prolific Google ads campaign.


Results

After two to three months of launching the SEO and Ads campaigns, the number of organic visitors going to Sepan Banquet’s website increased dramatically. By the end of the year, users from organic search increased by 85%. The website sessions from such search also grew by more than 76%. The campaigns also increased the number of users finding Sepan on Google Maps which resulted in more than 205,000 views, from just over 50 views before the campaigns started. The users were not only visiting the site but they were also engaging with the content. Most of all, the site started to get a notable boost in online bookings.
